Oil on canvas that I painted during the height of the Coronavirus in Spain. When I look at the painting it makes me think of the living world and also souls who succumbed to the virus. It as though we are all roses in form, but some of the forms change in the recent weeks.

These Jasmine plants trail all over the island. I have them spilling over the wall beside my house and the add such a punch of colour and beauty to the land. I adore them and very often paint them or use the joy of them in other work.
