"Introduction to Cala Deia"
I painted this after having been introduced to the cove of Cala Deia, here in Mallorca. I was struck by the intensity of the blues and the shimmer from the water. The place has a magical feel, like so much of this amazing island. I have used a touch of silver in my painting to enhance the shimmer.
